MODERN SLAVERY

VAILOS are committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking throughout our business and we are certified ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems) which ensures we take responsibility for how our systems affect all workers throughout our supply chain.

We have a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking, and we expect our entire supply chain to comply with our values. Our modern slavery policy ensures optimum transparency throughout our supply chain and our quality assurance team work closely with our suppliers, manufacturers and partners to maintain full compliance with our policy.

We look for internationally recognised standards like SA8000 when choosing our suppliers, with accreditation processes for manufacturers to evidence their fair treatment of workers. These high standards ensure performance is monitored and improved upon. At VAILOS we build long standing relationships within our manufacturers and make clear our expectations of business behaviour, all partners must have suitable anti-slavery and human trafficking policies and procedures of their own that are fully auditable and fit for purpose.

VAILOS utilise organisations such as the Ethical Trading Initiative, the Fair Labor Association, Social Accountability International and Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) to ensure we are following best practice when it comes to concerns over Humans Rights, Labour Standards and Modern Slavery.

We pride ourselves on transparency within our supply chain and strive to deliver best practice in this area, taking serious and effective steps to identify and root out any signs of contemporary slavery. We understand our obligations go beyond our staff and premises, and our Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement sets out the identified risks within our supply chains and how we are pro-actively managing these risks in compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
